The Dork Circus
Deceased. Guild master of the Order of the Empty Hand. A member for 17 years now, he began as a street urchin, only to find that the use of magic suited his endeavors. Has since schooled himself in the art of moving without a trace. Eight years ago, after the old guild master was presumed to have died (his body was never found), Kamahl won the power struggle for leadership of the guild. It is primarily he and his ambitions that find the guild reaching it’s current stature and level of sophistication. Kamahl emphasizes movement and strategy, and disdains strongarm tactics in preference of adaptation, cunning, and subtlety. It is as easy to assume his blades are poisoned as not because, while being familiar with poisons of all sorts, Kamahl knows information is power. Little is known of his ancestry or origins, and the locations of his quarters (or other rooms he may have hidden) are unknown: only he knows the location of the teleportation circles that lead to those dark, sealed rooms.
Kamahl is well liked by his guild. He appreciates each individual’s abilities for their worth to the guild and tells them so in his own subtle ways. As aloof as he might seem, he makes sure he is approachable by even the lowliest of guild members. He knows the power a good king holds over his subjects. And in the dark recesses of his mind he sees his influence encompassing all of the frozen regions of Northrend.
Kamahl’s desire for power led him to undertake the summoning of both demons and devils, not realizing the ancient enmity between the two. As a result, the Keep of Northrend became the most recent battleground in the ancient Blood War, directly leading to Kamahl’s own death at the hands of the Warwing Guard.
